We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Freight Brokers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of freight transportation, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of supply chain management and transportation processes, along with excellent negotiation and sales skills.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and carriers to facilitate effective freight movement.
  • Manage all aspects of the freight brokerage process, including pricing, contracts, and dispatching.
  • Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to track shipments and manage logistics operations.
  • Conduct lead generation activities to expand client base and increase sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of logistics plans.
  • Monitor compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant industry standards.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to shipment tracking, invoicing, and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in freight brokerage or a related field such as logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and CRM software.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record in B2B sales and account management.
  • Familiarity with 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations, and logistics sales processes.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple accounts while maintaining attention to detail in pricing, contracts, and dispatching tasks.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and carriers alike.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
