Our client is a leading contractor delivering major data centre project in Germany and is currently seeking experienced PLC Programmers to join their growing team in Frankfurt.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile, technically advanced projects within one of Europe’s fastest-growing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, program, test, and commission PLC systems for data centre infrastructure projects
• Work with Schneider Electric or Ignition platforms (preferred)
• Troubleshoot and optimise automation and control systems
• Support integration with BMS, SCADA, and wider facility systems
• Collaborate closely with engineering, commissioning, and project delivery teams
• Ensure all programming and documentation complies with project and safety standards
• Participate in FAT/SAT testing and onsite commissioning activities

Requirements

• Previous experience as a PLC Programmer within industrial, automation, or mission-critical environments
• Experience with Schneider Electric or Ignition systems preferred
• Strong understanding of control systems, electrical systems, and automation processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Experience within the data centre industry is highly advantageous
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• English or German language skills at a professional level
