Pedagog Recruiting is representing a confidential Indianapolis employer in search of a highly capable Senior Software Engineer to take a lead role in the ongoing development, modernization, and long-term support of the enterprise applications that keep the business running.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain internal enterprise software applications
• Build and support full-stack web-based solutions and user interfaces
• Develop backend services using C#, .NET, and .NET Core
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
• Develop and support REST APIs and internal/external system integrations
• Troubleshoot software, database, and deployment issues across the application stack
• Modernize and improve legacy business-critical systems
• Recommend software architecture upgrades, enhancements, and performance improvements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate operational needs into practical software solutions
• Participate in testing, source control, documentation, and deployment activities

Technical Environment

Strong experience in most of the following is desired:

• C#
• .NET Framework / .NET Core
• Angular
• SQL Server
• REST API / Microsoft WebAPI
• Git
• Azure DevOps / TFS
• WinForms
• HTML / CSS / JavaScript / Bootstrap / jQuery
• Windows Server deployment environments
• enterprise reporting tools

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of software development experience
• advanced hands-on Microsoft stack development background
• strong SQL Server database design and optimization skills
• experience with enterprise internal applications
• strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving ability
• ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
