Within our Asset Management division, the Multi-Management team is responsible for identifying, selecting and monitoring leading external investment managers globally. The team manages dedicated portfolios for institutional clients and leverages institutional-grade research, risk management and portfolio construction resources for both private and institutional investors.
As part of the continued development of our multi-management activities, we are strengthening our quantitative team to support the design, evolution and industrialization of internal analytical and decision-support tools used by our investment teams.
You will join a young, collaborative and business-oriented team, positioned at the intersection of quantitative analysis, portfolio management, fund selection and IT.
This role plays a key function as a technical interface between the quantitative team and the central IT department.
Role & Responsibilities
Within the quantitative team, you will be responsible for the technical and IT-related aspects of the tools and infrastructures supporting the investment process.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact with IT for topics related to:
- infrastructure, databases, deployment processes, validation and IT governance.
- Contributing to the development, maintenance and enhancement of internal web-based applications used by portfolio managers, fund selectors and analysts.
- Designing and implementing robust solutions following best practices in software design and software development.
- Working extensively with relational databases:
- data modelling, complex SQL queries, performance and data reliability.
- Participating in structured development workflows:
- version control (GIT), pull requests, code reviews, IT validation and production releases.
- Collaborating closely with quantitative analysts, portfolio managers and business teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of technical standards, tools and development processes within the team.
Profile
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a role combining development, data and interaction with IT teams, ideally in asset management, banking or a data-driven environment
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python for development and data analysis.
- Solid understanding of software design and software development principles.
- Experience with web application development, ideally using Django / Django REST (APIs).
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL or equivalent).
- Experience with structured, production-grade development environments. (Devop, GIT, JIRA)
- Familiarity with software testing practices (unit tests, functional validation).
- Good knowledge of API (Python, PostMan, Swagger)
- Knowledge of database administration concepts (structure, performance, reliability).
- Comfortable working with development tools such as PyCharm.
- Strong data analysis skills applied to business or financial use cases
Education:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or a related quantitative field
