About This Role
We are recruiting for an Application & Integration Developer to join the IT team at our Burnaby head office.
In this role you will develop database driven applications and SQL solutions; build integrations between business systems; and be involved with a team to manage enterprise application configuration and administration-while safeguarding database performance, integrity, and security, delivering ETL/reporting, and coordinating requirements and UAT with end users.

Your Responsibilities
- Application development, web based and mobile platforms
- Database configuration, maintenance and support, including backups
- Define and maintain integrity of master data across database/application systems
- Extract, transform, and import data into the data warehouse
- Write, refactor, and maintain existing SQL code
- Develop and maintain SQL based reports for systems such as JD Edwards
- Maintain and enhance existing custom applications and tools
- Develop add-ins and extensions for modeling tools such as Revit
- Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor.ai) to optimize coding efficiency and solution delivery
- Build and support integrations between enterprise applications (e.g., JDE, Procore, Fieldpoint)
- Develop automation and integration scripts to streamline workflows and data movement
- Gather and document business requirements and processes
- Coordinate with end users for UAT related to data, reporting, and databases
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Management, or related courses and certifications
- 5+ years of experience with Application development and relational databases
- Experience managing production databases, ETL processes, data extraction, and backend integrations
- Proficiency with scripting languages
- Experience supporting or developing reports for enterprise systems
- Able to design and support integrations between business systems
- Experience developing Revit add-ins, an asset
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
- Experience building or maintaining data warehouse environments, an asset
- Knowledge of Procore, Fieldpoint, or construction/operations systems, an asset
- Self motivated with sound judgment
- Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments
- Collaborative with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to elicit and assess feedback effectively.
