- Significant Acquisition / procurement /Subcontract experience
- Comprehensive understanding of Global Supply Chain and/or complex Government procurement concepts and best practices
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to analyze multiple data sources
- Solid communication skills
- Comprehensive understanding of negotiations and ability to analyze pricing to establish a negotiation position
- Demonstrated experience with proposal evaluations (Price/Cost Analysis) and negotiations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
- Statement of work experience
- Strong Subcontracting background in Government contracts
- Experience leading teams and project initiatives
- Experience with lean initiatives and supporting cross functional teams
With an established supply base around the world we are currently seeking an experienced supply chain / acquisition professional to join our Global Supply Chain Management team in the Lexington, KY area.
What You Will Be Doing
Duties include but are not limited to in support of Platform and SOF Systems Mission Area:
- Management of large subcontracts from Request for Proposal, to contract creation, through the life cycle of the effort
- Management of cost, schedule and performance
- Working supplier corrective actions and return to green efforts as required
- Reporting status to Sr. and executive leadership
- Working closely with Compliance supporting audits
- Serving as a mentor and knowledge resource on basic and complex subcontracts, including those with

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
