Cashier

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register to process cash, credit, and electronic payments
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area
• Assist with scanning items, packing purchases, and ensuring accurate pricing
• Work collaboratively with team members to support store operations
• Follow company policies regarding cash handling and security

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier or in retail preferred but not required
• Friendly and customer-oriented attitude
• Basic arithmetic skills to handle cash transactions properly
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
