Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Samsic Facility for the role of Site Cleaning Manager. This position will be based at a prestigious 5-star venue in Dublin City and offers the opportunity to lead and manage a dynamic on-site cleaning operation within a high-profile client environment.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional with a strong background in cleaning services management and client relationship management. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service standards, operational excellence, and full compliance with health & safety requirements.
This is a key leadership role requiring strong people management skills, financial awareness, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives across the client's 5-star venue
- Ensure delivery of all KPI's, SLA's, and service desk requirements in line with contractual obligations
- Manage site cleaning budgets, including labour, materials, equipment, and consumables
- Prepare and manage weekly staff rosters in line with operational requirements and budget controls
- Ensure accurate recording and management within the time and attendance system
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and disciplinary procedures
- Ensure all staff receive required company and client induction and training programmes
- Represent the cleaning department at operational meetings, audits, and training sessions
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety compliance and ensure safe systems of work are implemented
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and support client retention strategies
- Provide monthly operational reports to the Key Account Manager outlining activity, progress, and any operational issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site and cleaning operation
- Proven experience in a Cleaning Services Management role
- Strong people management and client relationship skills
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and cleaning industry standards
- Flexibility to work within a 5 out of 7-day rota
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing high-profile or fast-paced sites
- Ability to prioritise workload and perform under pressure
