Job Title : Senior Web Application Developer
Location : Vancouver, BC , Canada
About the Role:
We are looking for a Web Application Developer experience building and enhancing software tools, workflow automation and engineering solutions that support retail product creation, 2D/3D design workflows, and digital product lifecycle processes. In this role, you will design and develop production‑ready tools, plugins, and workflows that enable designers, developers, and technical teams to efficiently create, manage, and integrate 2D and 3D assets across the product lifecycle.
You will collaborate closely with designers, 3D artists, engineers, and platform teams, balancing technical constraints with creative and apparel‑specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain production‑grade pipelines for processing and managing 2D and 3D content
- Develop custom tools, plugins, and automations for DCC applications such as:
- Blender, Rhino
- CLO3D, Browzwear VStitcher
- Unreal Engine
- Write clean, maintainable code using Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Bash
- Troubleshoot and debug runtime issues within DCC environments
- Build and support web and desktop applications (macOS & Windows) used in DPC workflows
- Integrate 3D assets with asset management and DAM systems (e.g., Nuxeo or similar)
- Collaborate with apparel designers to ensure tools support real‑world garment construction, fit, and design intent
- Maintain documentation and best practices for pipelines, tools, and workflows
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to continuously improve speed, quality, and scalability
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering
- Proven experience developing production‑ready tools and pipelines for 2D/3D content
- Strong programming and scripting skills in: Python/JavaScript / TypeScript/BashScript
- Hands‑on experience building plugins or custom tools inside DCC applications
- Experience debugging and optimizing DCC runtime performance
- Experience developing cross‑platform web and/or desktop applications
- Familiarity with asset integration workflows and asset management systems (e.g., Nuxeo, DAM, PLM, PIM)
- Working knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to balance technical feasibility and apparel design goals
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working across design, engineering, and product teams
