EATON is hiring a

Low Voltage System Assembly (LVSA) - Value Stream Lead (m/f/d)

This position is based at our manufacturing plant in Schrems, Austria

The main focus of this position is to own and to optimise the end-to-end LVSA value stream at Eaton's Schrems plant - from order intake through engineering, manufacturing, and testing to on-time customer delivery. This role leads the coordination across all post-order functions to drive quality, efficiency, and operational excellence across the full production cycle.

What you'll do:

End-to-End Value Stream Ownership

  • Own the full LVSA post-order flow - from engineering through production, testing, and delivery
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across all post-order phases to deliver on safety, quality, cost, and schedule
  • Deploy the Target Operating Model and lead the SIOP process to maximise factory efficiency and profitability

Delivery & Flow Management

  • Ensure on-time delivery by managing lead time, WIP, and throughput - intervening early when needed

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team: post-order management, engineering, production, and project supply chain
  • Set clear accountability and foster collaboration across functions

Capacity & Resource Planning

  • Align engineering and production capacity with project demand in line with the strategic plan

Continuous Improvement

  • Define standardised processes and drive improvements in productivity, quality, and lead time
  • Lead value stream optimisation, digitalisation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives

Escalation & Customer Focus

  • Act as escalation point for delays, conflicts, and resource constraints - ensuring customer commitments are met

Qualifications and skills:

  • Degree in Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 5+ years in operations, engineering, or project management within an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams or managing value streams
  • Strong understanding of LVSA architecture, system design, and manufacturing constraints
  • Knowledge of IEC 61439 standards and project execution processes
  • Familiarity with engineering tools (e.g., EPLAN Electric P8) is an advantage

What Sets You Apart

  • A leader who develops people - not just manages them
  • Structured, process-driven, and comfortable navigating complexity
  • A clear communicator across technical and operational boundaries
  • Strong ownership mindset with decisive problem-solving capability

What we offer:

  • A performance-oriented and attractive remuneration, depending on education, qualifications, and professional experience, of approximately EUR 110,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments (overpayment above this amount is possible depending on qualifications and experience).
  • Flexible working solutions
  • Excellent working environment - safety and ethics are important for us
  • Culture & Values - we are more than the products we invent and produce - the way we do business is just as important. At Eaton, our values and culture define who we are - both individually and as an organization - and direct our activities every day
  • Learning & Development - we invest in our employees for the long term - not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities, made available through Eaton University

At EATON we are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees. Our recruitment processes use balanced selection criteria and avoid unlawful discrimination against applicants on the basis of their age, colour, disability, marital status, national origin, gender, gender identity, genetic information, race or racial origin, religion, sexual orientation or any other status protected or required by law.
