Location: Los Angeles, CA (Fully Onsite – DTLA)
Job Type: Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire
Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 annually OR $55–$57/hour DOE
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join a fast-paced corporate finance team supporting a dynamic retail and consumer products organization. This role offers strong visibility across the business and the opportunity to partner with senior leadership on forecasting, reporting, and strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
- Perform financial modeling, variance analysis, and trend analysis to support strategic business decisions
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership
- Analyze departmental expenses, inventory trends, and operational performance metrics
- Assist with financial reporting related to corporate KPIs, profitability, and business performance
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other business units
- Support ad hoc analysis, business cases, and special projects as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies
- Assist with consolidation activities and large data analysis projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of FP&A or corporate finance experience
- Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Experience preparing financial reporting and actionable business insights for leadership
- Advanced Excel skills required, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred
- Experience with TM1, JDE, or large ERP systems is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting retail, consumer products, or supply chain finance functions
- Exposure to consolidations and executive-level financial presentations
- Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying operational trends
