THE WORK

Responsibilities

Our Supply Chain Management Team is leading the charge in procuring material across a diverse global supply base to support the sustainment of multiple aircraft platforms around the world. As a Subcontract Administrator within the Derco Supply Chain Management Organization, you will be working with a world class organization responsible for:

  • Collaborating with Capture team to generate RFP packages, analyze subcontract proposals and negotiate price and terms.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)requirements and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
  • Integrate with other departments to achieve customer objectives.

Please Note

  • Milwaukee, WI and Orlando, FL are the preferred work locations for this role, but we will consider candidates that are able to work out of our Stratford, CT facility as well. Relocation assistance is not provided.
  • This position requires travel, on average <25% domestically and internationally.
  • Due to program requirements, US Citizenship is required.

    Who You Are

    You are a driven and analytical individual with a strong foundation in supply chain management, contracts, and compliance, combined with excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders. You have an understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) supplements, as well as other industry-specific tools and systems, to support the administration and management of subcontracts.

    A level 3 employee is mid-career and typically has 3+ years of professional experience.

    • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
    • Experience writing and reviewing FAR compliant Price Analyses and Proposals
    • Comprehensive understanding of supplier flow downs and proposal packages
    • Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizations
    • Ability to think outside the box and bring unique solutions to the table
    • Ability to conduct supplier visits as necessary
