Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing B2B Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and scale new business opportunities in Colombia. This role focuses on acquiring and growing key corporate accounts, building strategic partnerships, and exploring non-traditional B2B channels to drive incremental revenue with sustainable margins.

The ideal candidate is a commercial hunter with strong negotiation skills, capable of building structured pipelines and closing complex, mid- to high-value deals while maintaining long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify and develop new B2B business opportunities across corporate, institutional, and strategic partner channels (e.g. enterprises, hospitality, airlines, banks, real estate, gifting and incentive programs).
  • Build, manage, and prioritize a qualified sales pipeline aligned with annual revenue targets.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, solution design, proposal development, negotiation, deal closing, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Develop customized commercial proposals, product bundles, and pricing structures based on client needs and profitability targets.

Key Account & Partner Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including contracts, pricing terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure successful deal execution and delivery.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks.
  • Identify white spaces, emerging customer needs, and scalable B2B business models.
  • Provide structured insights and recommendations to management on growth opportunities, risks, and market dynamics.

Execution & Reporting

  • Track sales performance and pipeline health using CRM and internal reporting tools.
  • Prepare regular business reviews, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Ensure compliance with internal commercial policies and guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in B2B sales or business development.
  • Proven track record of closing mid- to high-value B2B deals.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple opportunities in parallel.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
  • Fluent in Spanish; professional English is required. Portuguese is a plus.
