What You Will Do
- Own and grow key customer relationships
You will be the main point of contact for some of our most important customers. Your goal is to build strong, long-term partnerships with startups using AWS and ensure they get the most value from Cloudvisor.
- Understand customer goals and drive success
Startups move fast, and their needs evolve quickly. You will work closely with customers to understand their business goals, challenges, and growth plans—and help them leverage AWS and Cloudvisor services to achieve them.
- Identify growth opportunities
Account management at Cloudvisor isn’t just about support. You’ll actively identify opportunities for expansion—whether through additional AWS services, cost optimization initiatives, or Cloudvisor offerings like Well-Architected Reviews.
- Coordinate with internal teams
You will collaborate closely with our Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure customers receive the best possible experience. Clear communication and coordination are key to delivering results.
- Negotiate commercial agreements
Startups at scale often require bespoke commercial arrangements. You will lead negotiations with customers on pricing, contract terms, and special agreements—balancing customer value with Cloudvisor's commercial interests.
- Act as a trusted advisor
Our customers rely on us for guidance in navigating AWS and cloud best practices. You’ll provide strategic recommendations, answer questions, and help customers make informed decisions as they scale.
What We Expect You to Have
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a customer-facing role (key account management, customer success, sales, consulting, or similar). B2B experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to work with founders, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts and long-term client relationships.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (AWS knowledge is a big plus).
- An AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or higher would be a strong advantage.
- Be a self-starter. We expect people to be curious, ask questions, and take ownership of their work.
- Show hunger to grow, as there is a clear growth pathway within the company.
