In this role, you will support the design, governance, and technical oversight of mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) systems for both new developments and refurbishment projects across the UK, Denmark, Switzerland, and the United States. You, alongside the team, will ensure the highest standards of technical quality, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle performance, while driving continuous improvement and innovation in system design and delivery.
The role is accountable for overseeing contractor design outputs, managing and developing internal technical standards, and ensuring cost-effective, future-focused engineering solutions that enhance asset performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ongoing development and management of M&E specifications across all regions.
- Provide technical guidance, direction, and governance across all MEP disciplines.
- Oversee and assure the quality of all design deliverables, ensuring compliance, consistency, and best-practice engineering.
- Drive continuous improvement of design formats, specifications, and standards to ensure optimal whole-life value for each property.
- Build strong relationships and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support and shape supply chain development to ensure capability, innovation, and alignment with standards.
- Lead quality assurance activities across all MEP design stages.
Qualifications And Skills
- Recent graduate (e.g. mechanical or electrical engineering) and/or newly qualified (CIBSE or similar).
- Some knowledge of building regulations, legal compliance and industry best practice.
- Some experience in ME&P design or project management.
