Solutions Engineer
Indexed description
I am working for a company operating at the intersection of technology, payments and the fitness industry.
They power the systems behind gyms and fitness operators across Europe, and are now investing heavily in AI to reshape how that entire ecosystem runs.
This is not about adding AI on top. It is about rebuilding the operating backbone of a business that sits inside a real, physical industry, where efficiency, member experience and commercial performance all matter.
They are hiring an AI Solutions Engineer, based in Hamburg or remote across DACH and the EU, to help drive that transformation.
This is a small, high impact team with real budget and direct access to leadership. The expectation is simple, find meaningful problems, build solutions quickly, and make sure they are actually used.
What you would own
• How information flows across the company
Design the structure and standards that make data clean, connected and usable
Partner with domain owners across People, Sales, Customer Success, Finance and Legal
Ensure knowledge is accessible for both humans and AI systems
• The internal AI tooling layer
Architect and build in house capabilities that reduce reliance on external SaaS
Create systems the business owns, understands and can evolve quickly
Focus on practical impact, not experimentation for its own sake
• Agentic workflows across teams
Work directly with stakeholders to identify high value use cases
Ship automations in short cycles with real users
Enable teams to extend and maintain what you build so impact compounds
What they are looking for
• Around five years of experience in data, integrations or machine learning engineering
• Hands on experience with the Claude ecosystem, including agent frameworks and tool use
• A track record of shipping internal tools or agentic workflows quickly
• Strong Python and SQL, plus experience integrating modern SaaS platforms
• Ability to write clear solution specs and explain trade offs to non technical stakeholders
• Confidence to challenge requests when automation is not the right answer
• A self starter mindset, comfortable creating clarity without a perfect brief
Additional details
• Full time role
• Hamburg or remote across DACH and the EU
• Small team with real ownership and accountability
• A business with deep roots in the fitness space, where what you build has real world impact on operators and members
You must have the legal right to work in Germany.
