Key Responsibilities
- Track outstanding balances across payable and receivable accounts, proactively identifying and addressing aged or unresolved items.
- Assist with verifying purchase orders against internal records and maintaining accuracy within project and cost management documentation.
- Build working relationships across multiple departments to gain a thorough understanding of how operational finance functions across the organization.
- Contribute to both internal and external audit readiness and uphold compliance with established policies and control frameworks.
- Play a supporting role in developing operating budgets and forward-looking financial projections. Candidates without a formal FP&A background are welcome, as guidance will be provided.
- Deliver financial analysis and reporting support, including fluctuation analysis and special projects, at the direction of the finance leadership team.
- Oversee project initialization and ongoing compliance to preserve the integrity of financial reporting across the relevant business area.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure, and a root-cause mindset when analyzing problems.
- A genuine go-getter mentality. Seeking someone who thinks outside the box, takes initiative, and wants to grow.
- Familiarity with WIP reporting, GAAP standards, or project-based accounting.
- Experience with an ERP system.
