We are partnering with a global, multi-site technology and electronics manufacturing group undergoing significant international growth and rapidly emerging as a leader within its sector.
As part of this expansion, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT leader to take ownership of site-level IT operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant technology services that support manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions while aligning with global IT standards and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end site IT operations across infrastructure, applications, and end-user services, ensuring high availability and operational continuity within manufacturing and engineering environments
- Drive site-level IT governance, including incident, problem, and change management, cybersecurity controls, user access management, and SOX-compliant processes
- Manage, mentor, and coordinate on-site IT teams, third-party vendors, and service providers to deliver high-quality operational support
- Partner closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Facilities, and Corporate IT teams to support site expansions, new production lines, and infrastructure modernisation projects
- Ensure local IT operations align with global technology standards, policies, and best practices
About You
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience within IT operations, including leadership responsibility in site-based, plant, or manufacturing environments
- Strong background supporting manufacturing, industrial, or engineering organisations
- Proven expertise across Windows environments, networking, identity and access management, and end-user computing
- Demonstrated leadership capability with strong communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
- Experience operating within SOX-regulated or highly controlled environments would be highly advantageous
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, along with virtualization and hybrid IT environments, is desirable
