Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role based in Newark, NJ, for an SSAT Teacher, who will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to students taking the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). Responsibilities include lesson planning, teaching core concepts, providing individual or group instruction, and tracking student progress to support their academic growth. The teacher will collaborate closely with students and families to ensure effective learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with standardized testing and familiarity with the SSAT test format are highly desirable.
• Experience in Lesson Planning and Teaching to design and deliver effective instructional content.
• Demonstrated ability to tailor teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Strong Communication skills to convey information clearly and interact effectively with students and families.
• Background in Education and Training to support students' learning and development.
• Proficiency in creating a positive and focused learning environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
