Summary:
Lead the delivery of high-value strategic projects with external partners, ensuring strong governance, cross-functional alignment (Commercial, Regulatory, Supply Chain), and operational excellence. Oversee alliance management, drive joint decision-making, and support the successful integration of in-licensing and strategic collaborations across a portfolio of key partnerships.
What you Will do:
Serve as alliance manager for high-value, complex partnerships, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain joint governance structures, including Joint Steering Committees and Joint Operating Committees.
- Facilitate strategic and operational decision-making with partners, ensuring timely resolution of issues and alignment on shared goals.
- Define and track partnership performance metrics and KPIs to ensure value realization and continuous improvement.
- Lead regular business reviews with partners and internal stakeholders to assess progress, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.
- Interpret and operationalize key contractual terms, ensuring business owners understand and adhere to obligations and entitlements.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to alliance execution, including compliance, IP, and commercial risks.
- Lead post-deal integration planning and execution for in-licensing and strategic collaborations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Commercial, Legal, Regulatory, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless onboarding and execution of partnership deliverables.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights into alliance health, strategic risks, and opportunities for value enhancement.
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, R&D, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and support for partnership goals.
- Drive the development and implementation of alliance management frameworks, tools, and templates to standardize and scale best practices.
- Benchmark against industry standards and incorporate learnings from external networks and peer companies.
What You Will Need :
- Higher education with a relevant qualification degree
- Work experience: 7+ years in relevant roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven track record of managing complex partnerships and integrations across global organizations
- Strong understanding of licensing and strategic collaboration frameworks
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority
- English proficiency, excellent communication skills, computer skills (MS Office)
