About this Position The Production Operations Management Trainee Program at Henkel's Adhesive Business Unit will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the roles and tasks in production operations and prepare you for rapid development within the organization.
What You´ll Do
- During the 18-month rotational program, you will receive systematic training in our factories and lead improvement projects to gain in-depth knowledge of various functions in production operations.
- The program consists of three phases:
- Building Your Foundation: You will join our production team to improve and optimize production processes, enhancing efficiency.
- Exploring New Horizons: You will undergo three functional rotations in selected departments (e.g., Safety, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Lean Management, or Supply Planning, etc.).
- Gaining Strategic Insights: You will work closely with Henkel's Adhesive Technologies teams in the Asia-Pacific region and globally, participating in a cross-functional project.
- Each trainee will be assigned a mentor who will provide ongoing guidance and share work experience. You will also connect with other trainees across the Asia-Pacific region. - Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering and technology, Automation, Mechanics, Applied Chemistry, Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Fine Chemicals, Polymer Materials and Engineering, or related fields.
- Eager to learn, with an interest in new technologies, digitalization, and data analysis. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, capable of effectively interacting with management at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a high capacity for continuous learning and self-development.
- Adaptability to multi-department rotations. Willingness and motivation to become a future leader.
- Internship experience in chemical or manufacturing enterprises is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Fluent Japanese is must
