Role Description

An exciting part-time opportunity has become available for a commercially focused Management Accountant to join a manufacturing med-tech business. This role will suit an analytically minded finance professional who enjoys working across all aspects of the business including payroll, AP, AR, statutory requirements, monthly management reporting as well as with the operations & distribution team to drive performance, improve processes, and enhance reporting accuracy. Candidates with experience with using MYOB / Acumatica will be viewed favourably. The role reports to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

· Monthly management reports including ownership of inventory accounting

· Fortnightly payroll processing

· Accounts payable and receivables

· Statutory requirements, e.g. Tax Returns, BAS, IAS, Super etc

· Managing R&D rebate applications and submissions

· Fixed asset management including capitalisation, depreciation, and asset registers

· Month-end reporting, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis

· Assisting with forecasting and financial planning activities

· Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations

· Providing commercial insights to support operational decision-making

About You

· CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification

· 3-4 years of experience within the manufacturing industry

· Strong understanding of inventory accounting and stock management principles

· Exposure to freight, warehousing, or operational cost analysis will be highly regarded
