The Marketing Operations & Events Coordinator evaluates incoming marketing requests, facilitates prioritization, and develops strategies to execute projects based on internal capabilities and resourcing. This role operates as a hybrid between marketing traffic management and event coordination, supporting the planning, execution, and post-production of B2B events and associated content.
This individual will be familiar with the full scope of partnerships, campaigns, and events, and will manage project objectives and requirements in a way that drives efficiency, high-quality output, and measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the creative queue, ensuring internal and external teams deliver results that achieve key objectives
- Create consistency and efficiency within a collaborative cross-functional environment to deliver high-quality creative assets
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (marketing, content, design, partners, vendors) to deliver assets on time
- Lead daily stand-up meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to align on project status, ensuring visibility into both campaign and event-related workstreams
- Conduct weekly status meetings to update colleagues on project status
- Maintain work queues and determine delivery schedules based on stakeholder expectations, timelines, production milestones, and dependencies
- Analyze project risks and communicate with key stakeholders, including event execution risks and mitigation planning
- Navigate Smartsheet proficiently to make regular updates and keep the team on task
- Support planning and execution of events (webinars, conferences, partner events, graduations, virtual and in-person experiences)
- Manage post-event workflows, including editing and distribution of content
- Manage event logistics such as registration timelines, assets, and internal readiness
- Assist with speaker coordination, including scheduling, briefing, and asset collection
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the following areas: advertising agency traffic management, event management, and marketing operations
- Experience with the following functions: content, design, web development, and SEO
- Experience managing event logistics and content production workflows
- Experience with Smartsheet, Jira, and SharePoint preferred
- Proven ability to manage competing projects under significant constraints
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
- The successful candidate must be available to work full-time from one of our Boundless Learning offices.
