Controller

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. This role ensures the accuracy of financial information, compliance with regulatory requirements, and supports strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
• Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and all applicable regulatory and tax requirements
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
• Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic planning
• Coordinate and manage external audit processes and serve as primary point of contact for auditors
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial health of the organization
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership responsibility
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
