This role serves as the link between internal Talent Acquisition, Wesco’s external RPO partner, Operations, and Human Resources. The Specialist – Talent Acquisition is responsible for ensuring staffing needs are met through efficient coordination and facilitation of the recruiting process including requisition and candidate management, candidate interviews/feedback/selection, tracking and reporting, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-site Talent Acquisition partner working closely with Talent Acquisition leadership, RPO, Operations, and Human Resources to align staffing plans and address challenges.
- Manage requisition and hiring activities to ensure staffing levels align with daily and strategic operational resource needs.
- Maintain accurate tracking of requisitions, candidate status, interview activity, and hiring outcomes; prepare regular reports for site leadership.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting process for exempt level positions including resume review, phone screening and interview coordination with Operations leaders.
- Research, recommend, and establish partnerships with local organizations, schools, and other community resources to build brand awareness and increase candidate pools.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, company standards, and warehouse safety requirements throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
- Leverage recruiting systems and tools to improve speed, efficiency, and candidate experience in a high-volume environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting; warehouse, manufacturing, or hourly high-volume hiring experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Application Tracking Systems (Oracle Recruiting Cloud preferred).
- 2 years required understanding of recruiting policies, practices, and employment law.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Flexible, well organized, and comfortable working on-site in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
