The Role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end estimating process—from initial blueprint analysis to final proposal delivery. You’ll leverage historical data, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure every bid is accurate, competitive, and client-focused.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze & Quantify: Review bid documents, blueprints, and specs to provide detailed scope of work for all trades.
• Budget & Estimate: Prepare comprehensive material, labor, and time estimates; research historical data to produce accurate client budgets.
• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, managing bid data for detailed cost analysis.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the estimating team and transition awarded projects to Project Managers.
• Track Performance: Compile and record actual costs to refine future estimating accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 7–10 years of commercial construction estimating (minimum 5 years required).
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Procore or similar estimating software is a major plus.
• Skills: Advanced math, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Reliability: A team player with a good driving record; available for travel and additional hours as needed.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

• Pay: $50,837 – $85,000 per year (Based on experience) + Bonus Pay (Based on company and personal performance).
• Hours: Full-time, Mon–Fri, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Location: One location in Mentor, OH.
