The Team
The team is led by the Head of Immigration and Compliance, who oversees operations across both campuses. Each location - York and London - is staffed by its own International Visa and Compliance Manager and International Visa and Compliance Advisor.
The Role
We are currently seeking an International Visa & Compliance Manager to join our YSJ Global team on a one year-fixed term maternity cover basis at our London campus. In this role, you will take lead responsibility for ensuring the University remains compliant with all UKVI regulations and legislation relating to student immigration, while line managing the International Visa & Compliance Advisor(s) at the London campus and providing cover for the York campus team in the absence of the York International Visa & Compliance Manager. You will oversee the full range of visa advising and compliance activities, including acting as a Level 1 User of the Home Office Sponsor Management System, leading on UKVI audit preparation, and delivering accurate, timely visa advice to prospective and current students. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced immigration professional to play a central role in supporting our international student community across both campuses.
Required Skills And Experience
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in student immigration compliance - experience working with UKVI regulations and policies, and a deep understanding of the Higher Education sector. You will also have the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
