REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, or in a related IT occupation in the financial services industry. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Performing Brokerage and Trust Accounting including Clearance, Custody and Settlement processing, Order, Trading, and Bookkeeping transactions for various trading accounts including Cash, Margin, Short, COD, IRA, Retirement Solutions, and Principal and Income accounting; Utilizing Investor Communication products that include Confirmations, Statements, and Tax Documents for Retail and Institutional Investors, and performing trust accounting using GlobalPlus integration and processing; Simplifying software container orchestration within the architecture using Kubernetes, and the Kubernetes building blocks to test cloud native applications, and deploying and troubleshooting a stand-alone application. Using Opentext’s Extreme product to compose documents in IBM’s Advanced Function Presentation (AFP), and designing, deploying, and troubleshooting complex documents including brokerage statements on both Exstream mainframe and cloud platform; and Performing Agile Development as well as implementations in COBOL/CICS and enterprise development in Python, JAVA, and Angular framework to integrate with various vendor and third-party products.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary/range for this position is expected to be $189,592.00 - $200,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify the base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
