Job Title: Network & Systems Security Analyst

Location: Lutz, FL 33549 (Onsite Job)

Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Pay Rate: $55–$62/hr on W2

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience in Windows Server, VMware, Storage, Firewall, and Cisco networking
• Strong SolarWinds administration experience (Required)
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, switching, routing, and network troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and infrastructure security controls

Position Overview

• We are seeking a Network & Systems Security Analyst responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network, server, and storage infrastructure.
• This role ensures all network security controls are properly implemented in alignment with IT security policies and industry best practices.
• The position also supports both operational and project-based initiatives, including infrastructure upgrades, troubleshooting, and security enhancements across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design & Implementation

• Plan, design, and implement network, server, and storage infrastructure based on business and capacity requirements
• Install and configure hardware/software aligned with security standards
• Participate in small project design, planning, and execution

Operations & Support

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network/server issues using OSI model methodology
• Provide second-level technical support for infrastructure and security systems
• Identify and remediate system failures, performance issues, and outages

Security & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to IT security policies and cyber security best practices
• Support firewall, authentication, and access control mechanisms
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation

Leadership & Collaboration

• Serve as technical consultant on small projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Mentor and support junior (Level 1) analysts
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors

• CCNA / CCNP
• VCP
• MCSA / MCSE
• CISSP
• CEH / GIAC certifications
