The Semiconductor Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive growth and foster relationships with high-expectation clients. This position requires a deep understanding of the semiconductor market, particularly in microcontrollers and system-on-chips. The successful candidate will navigate complex client needs while maintaining a focus on achieving substantial revenue targets. Salary Range: $160,000 - $230,000 / Year DOE
Semiconductor Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and own the sales strategy and execution for the microcontroller business
- Build, manage, and expand relationships across engineering, procurement, and executive teams
- Drive sample-to-design-win conversion through technical engagement
- Maintain a high-quality opportunity pipeline in the CRM system
- Provide insights into design cycles and product qualification timelines
- Monitor competitive threats and position the company's value proposition
- Act as the key voice of the customer internally
- Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings and materials
- At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor sales, ideally 10–15 years
- Proven track record of working directly with high-expectation customers
- Demonstrated ability to drive design wins and revenue growth from zero to over $50M
- Deep understanding of the business model and internal dynamics of high-profile clients
- Technical proficiency to engage with engineering teams on MCU use cases
- Expertise in using CRM tools for tracking and reporting
- Comfortable operating in a resource-constrained, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience working with Apple on micro-controllers specifically is preferred
- Highly strategic yet hands-on; able to operate independently while coordinating efforts is preferred
- Persuasive communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills is preferred
- Insightful and proactive; anticipates challenges is preferred
- High integrity, detail-oriented, and driven by measurable results is preferred
