Controller – Financial Reporting & Project Accounting

We’re partnering with a large, well‑established organization to hire a Controller with a strong blend of financial reporting, project accounting, and exposure to budgeting and forecasting. This is a high‑visibility role within a stable company that values accuracy, insight, and thoughtful business partnership.

What you’ll do:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting (GAAP)
• Oversee project accounting, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and analysis
• Ensure strong internal controls and audit readiness
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Manage and develop an experienced accounting team
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve processes and reporting

What they’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller‑level responsibility
• Strong background in financial reporting and technical accounting
• Project accounting experience (construction, engineering, manufacturing, or similar preferred)
• Collaborative, detail‑oriented, and business‑minded
