What You’ll Do?

You’ll be the technical voice in the room when Fortune 500 companies decide how to transform their digital landscape. As a Solution Engineer at Vaimo, you bridge the gap between business ambition and technical reality—designing solutions that range from managed support engagements to enterprise-wide digital transformations.

This isn’t a back-office architecture role. You’ll be client-facing from day one: leading technical discovery, facilitating executive workshops, shaping RFP responses, and presenting solution visions to C-suite stakeholders. You’ll work across our full platform portfolio— Contentful, Akeneo, Bluestone, Adobe Commerce, Commercetools, and the broader Adobe Experience Cloud—designing integrated solutions that actually get built.

Your focus will be the US and Canadian markets, with opportunities to support global accounts.

You will:

Lead Technical Discovery

  • Run discovery engagements that uncover business requirements, technical constraints, and organizational realities
  • Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to align on priorities and trade-offs
  • Translate findings into clear documentation that drives execution

Design Enterprise Solutions

  • Propose end-to-end digital solutions spanning platforms, integrations, and data flows
  • Assess technical complexity, estimate effort, and identify risks before projects kick off
  • Ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with client needs

Drive Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

  • Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and craft winning RFP responses
  • Present technical solutions to executives, translating architecture into business impact
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client technical and business leadership

Ensure Delivery Alignment

  • Provide leadership presence during discovery execution to keep delivery on track
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, and Project Managers to identify technical solutions
  • Adapt solution plans as new constraints or opportunities emerge

What you will bring:

Experience

  • 7+ years in digital commerce, content, and data with hands-on experience in platform implementation (agency or client-side)
  • Deep expertise in ecommerce and content applications like Adobe and Contentful
  • Track record designing solutions for enterprise clients, ideally including Fortune 500 or complex multi-brand environments
  • B2B and r retail commerce background with understanding of industry-specific requirements

Technical Acumen

  • Strong grasp of modern commerce architecture: headless/composable, APIs, microservices, integrations
  • Strong familiarity with the broader ecosystem: PIM, OMS, ERP, CRM, CDP, payment, and search solutions
  • Ability to assess technical feasibility and translate architecture into effort estimates

Consulting & Communication Skills

  • Executive presence—confident presenting to C-suite and navigating complex stakeholder dynamics
  • Workshop facilitation chops—you can elicit requirements, negotiate trade-offs, and drive consensus
  • Clear communicator who can translate technical concepts for business audiences (and vice versa)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity—you thrive when “perfect” isn’t possible and “agreed-upon” is the goal
