Role Description

This is a volunteer, on-site role based in West Palm Beach, FL, for a Board Member at Young Men of Distinction. The Board Member will actively contribute to the strategic direction of the organization, participate in regular board meetings, and collaborate with other members to ensure the success of the organization’s mission. Responsibilities include governance oversight, financial stewardship, supporting fundraising efforts, and providing mentorship support. Board Members may also assist in community engagement, program development, and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit governance, strategic planning, or leadership
• Skills in financial oversight, fundraising, or resource development
• Strong communication, networking, and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to the mission of mentoring young men toward achieving higher education and leadership
