Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure the security and reliability of network infrastructure.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate network performance, diagnose issues, and define user and system requirements.
- Deploy, configure, manage, and monitor Wireless, LAN, and WAN environments, including routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, 802.11 wireless LANs, TCP/IP, Ethernet, SNMP, and VPN technologies.
- Maintain accurate and current network documentation.
- Provide tier 3 support for complex network issues, performing advanced troubleshooting and implementing effective solutions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in network administration and/or network security administration.
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification highly desired.
- Experience and/or certification with Cisco Systems or Aruba Networks wireless infrastructure preferred; other wireless vendor experience also valued.
