Role Overview
This full-time, on-site leadership position combines the responsibilities of an Assistant Principal and Activities Director at Moscow High School. The role focuses on enhancing student life through extracurricular programming, interscholastic athletics, leadership development, and inclusive school activities.
The position provides leadership, supervision, and organization of the high school athletic and activities program. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty, staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders to create engaging and enriching student experiences aligned with district goals.
Major Responsibilities
- Provide extracurricular opportunities for students
- Lead and supervise the high school interscholastic athletic program
- Plan and coordinate school events and activities
- Support student leadership and student engagement initiatives
- Manage budgets and allocate resources for activities and events
- Foster communication and collaboration with staff, students, families, and community members
- Resolve conflicts and support a positive school culture
- Ensure programs align with district expectations and student needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Idaho Administrator Certificate endorsed for School Principal (Pre-K–12)
- Ability to accept leadership responsibilities and direct extracurricular programs
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Conflict resolution skills
- Valid driver’s license if operating a district vehicle
