In this position, you will report to our Design Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead concept creation and design development across selected Ski and Hike categories, ensuring a premium, elevated, and brand-right expression.
- Collaborate closely with fellow designers to secure alignment, consistency, and high standards across the full collection.
- Translate insights, trends, materials, and performance needs into innovative, market-leading product concepts.
- Partner with Development, Pattern, Fabric/Trim, and Assortment to ensure feasibility, quality, and excellence throughout the creation process.
- Drive design storytelling and collection narratives that inspire internal teams and external partners.
- Contribute to a strong creative culture by mentoring, supporting, and learning within the team.
- Ensure all design work supports Peak Performance’s strategic direction, sustainability ambitions, and brand identity.
- A highly creative and conceptual thinker with a strong eye for premium details, aesthetics, and craftsmanship.
- Confident working from early ideation to final execution, balancing performance, functionality, and style.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a hands-on environment and contributes positively to team culture.
- Passionate about technical apparel and the intersection of sport, performance, and style.
- Skilled at presenting ideas clearly — visually and verbally — to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proactive, curious, and driven to push boundaries while staying grounded in brand DNA.
- 5+ years of experience as an apparel designer, preferably within premium, performance, outdoor, or sportswear brands.
- A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual strength, storytelling ability, and high-quality design development.
- Excellent understanding of materials, construction, and end-to-end product creation processes.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with 3D design tools (CLO or similar) is a plus.
- Experience working with global supply chains and collection-based product development cycles.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience from premium or luxury brands is highly meriting.
