Jr. IT Business Systems Analyst


We’re looking for a Jr. IT Business Systems Analyst who will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of business systems and processes. In this role, you will work closely with senior analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to analyze business needs, document requirements, and assist in delivering effective technological solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring that business systems and processes align with organizational goals while continuously improving efficiency and performance.


**This is a temporary position with a minimum duration through the end of 2026. This role will have full time hours and is located on-site in our Jacksonville, Florida office**

What You'll Do:


  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business requirements and provide project updates.
  • Assist in documenting detailed requirements, including user stories and use cases to ensure clarity and completeness.
  • Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate data accuracy and completeness across systems, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements.
  • Support senior analysts by acting as a liaison between business units, management, and technical teams.
  • Assist with system implementations and enhancements, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate on functional specifications and system design documentation.
  • Participate in testing activities, including creating test cases, executing tests, and documenting results.
  • Maintain documentation for business processes, system requirements, and user guides.
  • Support training efforts by helping develop materials, conduct sessions, and assist users during system transitions.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into system performance and usage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.


Your Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and use cases.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, JIRA, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems is a plus.
