Role Summary

We are seeking an IT professional to help execute and mature a shared enterprise IT environment supporting three companies operating under the same ownership. This role is project‑driven and focused on implementing solutions across identity, endpoint management, security, applications and infrastructure.

This role is ideal for an engineer who can work independently and execute complex technical tasks across multiple IT domains within a small, high-impact team.

Environment

You will work directly with the IT Director and Executive management to implement systems based on technology roadmaps and perform research to support business and security initiatives. The environment is a hybrid windows environment with multiple custom applications that support sales and operations.

Expectations

- Collaborate directly with IT Director on roadmap execution

- Research and recommend technical solutions

- Implement systems and tools

- Optimize existing infrastructure and technology platforms

- Provide technical insight to support decision-making

- Provide support for system users

Core Engineering Focus

You do not need to be an expert in everything, but you must have strong depth numerous practices:

Critical Skills:

- Active Directory / Entra / RBAC

- Windows GPO

- Microsoft Intune Policies and Application Management

- Network security, VLANs, firewall policies

Important Skills:

- VMWare (vsphere, ha, vmotion)

- SIEM

- Azure Architecture Fundamentals

- Security and compliance implementation (CMMC L1/L2, FCI/CUI)

- Programming and Scripting

- Database management

What Success Looks Like

- Projects move forward without constant escalation

- Security and compliance gaps are identified and addressed

- Clear identity, network, and data boundaries are established

- Leadership can focus on strategy instead of firefighting

- System Plans are comprehensive and align with compliance requirements

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

- 2-3 years of experience in Endpoint management, Identity and Access Management

- 1-2 years of experience in system design and implementation

- 1-2 years of experience in system administration

- 1-2 years in IT support
