Role Summary
The role will shape, strengthen and be accountable for the brand identity of Godrej Ventures (GV). The incumbent will lead integrated communication across stakeholders, including customers, tenants, partners, investors, and employees. The role owns brand strategy, communication, digital/print presence and thought leadership for GV’s portfolio, building a differentiated position for the business in India’s commercial real estate ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Architecture
- Define the long‑term brand strategy, architecture and governance for GV across funds, assets and platform
- Craft a distinctive brand narrative aligned to GV’s vision of delivering high‑quality, sustainable workplaces designed for life beyond work.
- Ensure consistency of brand expression across physical assets, digital platforms, investor communication and stakeholder touchpoints.
- Lead GV marketing communication across digital, print, social, PR, events, partnerships, etc.
- Plan and manage the annual media mix, content calendar and measurement framework to deliver brand and business outcomes.
- Establish clear metrics linking brand investment to commercial outcomes (E.g. Leasing velocity).
- Build GV’s thought leadership positioning in future of work, sustainability and workplace transformation.
- Oversee GV’s digital ecosystem (website, social channels)
- Ensure a coherent design language and experience across marketing assets and workspace touchpoints.
- Partner with Design & Development, Leasing, Investment and Property Management to embed brand cues through the asset lifecycle—from marketing to move‑in to ongoing operations.
- Lead internal communication to strengthen culture, engagement and alignment to GV’s mission
- Manage leadership messaging and employer branding to attract high-quality talent.
- 12–16 years of experience in brand management, marketing & communication with last 2 – 4 years in a leadership role
- Exposure to real estate/commercial workspaces, hospitality or allied premium B2B services is an advantage
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Communications or related field from a reputed institute.
Business Acumen
- Understands market dynamics in commercial real estate and broader workspace trends
- Drives clear plans, governance and ROI; maintains strong stakeholder relationships and negotiation capability.
- Sets high standards, delivers high quality outcomes.
- Inspires confidence, influences senior stakeholders and represents GV effectively with external audiences.
- Coaches and mentors; builds a diverse, high‑performing team and ecosystem.
- This role reports to the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Godrej Ventures.
