We’re proudly customer-focused, quality-driven, and team oriented and right now, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Accountant to cover a 12-month maternity leave contract.

🧾 The Role

As our Senior Accountant, you’ll work closely with our Financial Controller and Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations that keep TRS running smoothly. You’ll be hands on in all areas of finance, from accounts and payroll to cashflow and compliance and trusted to keep everything accurate, timely, and confidential.

We’re looking for someone who’s sharp, proactive, well organised, and has a communication skills.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Full-function Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Bank & Statement Reconciliations
• Weekly cash flow forecasting
• International supplier payments & reconciliations
• Month end journals and reconciliations
• Payroll processing (fortnightly)
• Maintain company vehicle registers & PPSR
• General reception duties and admin support when required
• Oversee office supplies and groceries
• Assist with team lunch planning
• Support the Financial Controller with budgeting and planning
• Uphold company policies and compliance standards

🧠 What You’ll Bring

• Min. 5 years experience in accounting/AP/AR
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, MYOB Advanced, Pronto)
• Comfortable using Office 365, SharePoint, Teams
• Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
• Solid attention to detail, proactive mindset
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Available to work 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Ability to pass drug & alcohol and pre-employment medical checks
