Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain cloud-hosted Moodle LMS environments
- Support AWS GovCloud and Microsoft Azure Government infrastructure operations
- Monitor cloud systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and availability
- Assist with cloud deployment, configuration, and infrastructure management activities
- Support backup management, disaster recovery planning, and system restoration processes
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls and compliance standards
- Assist in DevSecOps activities and deployment automation processes
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide technical support when required
- Maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, deployments, configurations, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to improve cloud security posture
- Ensure systems comply with NIST 800-53 and federal cybersecurity requirements
- Assist in system upgrades, patch management, and environment optimization activities
- Support enterprise applications hosted in secure government cloud environments
- Participate in infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and operational support activities
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve cloud efficiency, reliability, and operational performance
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and infrastructure management
- Knowledge of AWS GovCloud and/or Microsoft Azure Government environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and cybersecurity best practices
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and federal cybersecurity standards
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and deployment processes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of system monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and cloud operations
- Ability to manage secure cloud environments for government or enterprise systems
- Strong analytical thinking and technical support skills
- Good communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional technical teams
- Strong attention to detail, system reliability, and operational efficiency
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and technical tasks effectively
- Experience supporting federal, DHS, or DoD cloud environments
- Familiarity with Moodle LMS hosting and management
- Security+ CE certification
- Exposure to automation and cloud deployment tools
- Knowledge of enterprise application support within cloud environments
- Experience with cloud scalability and infrastructure optimization
- Understanding of secure government cloud operations and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring and incident management tools
- Interest in cloud innovation, cybersecurity, and secure infrastructure technologies
- Candidates should demonstrate strong technical ownership and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving cloud technologies and operational requirements is important
- Strong focus on security, reliability, and compliance will be expected
- Candidates should be comfortable working in structured and mission-driven environments
- Experience supporting government or regulated environments will be highly preferred
- Strong documentation and communication skills are important for operational success
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, cybersecurity, and operational teams is essential
