About The Role
As the Senior Director, Digital Health and Technology, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of digital health, information management and technology services.
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will lead the development and delivery of digital strategies, ICT operations, cyber security, informatics, analytics and health information services that support high quality patient care and organisational performance.
This role plays a critical part in driving digital transformation, strengthening cyber resilience, improving data driven decision making and fostering a culture of innovation across the health service.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, innovation programs and adoption of clinical and business technologies including ieMR.
- Build strong partnerships with clinical leaders, executives and external stakeholders to deliver impactful digital outcomes.
- Non shared accommodation while residing in the NWHHS will be supplied.
- Transfer and appointment expenses may be negotiated.

Requirements
- A relevant clinical qualification and experience will be well regarded as would a relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 10 years + experience in high-level management or executive roles within a complex healthcare environment would be well regarded.
- This position may be required to work outside core business hours.
- Travel is a requirement of the position, with overnight or longer stays at times both within the health service and throughout Queensland which may include travel by small aircraft.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
