Job Title: Designer
- Take direction from Design Director to create seasonal assortments across multiple categories (branded, licensed and private label lines that are trend right, appropriate for boys and girls newborn, infant & toddler)
- Research trends and conduct competitive shopping to inform seasonal silhouette, color, print, and category direction.
- Develop seasonal inspiration and concept presentations highlighting key materials, prints, trims, and silhouettes.
- Create sketches and color CADs for seasonal development boards and collection line sheets.
- Support fabric, trim, and component development appropriate for children’s product with attention to comfort, durability, and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in materials, silhouettes, and category expansion within the children’s business.
