About This Role

Your new role:

This Is An Exciting Opportunity To Support The Planning And Delivery Of Critical Capital Infrastructure Projects Across Metro South Health, Working Alongside Experienced Project Professionals In a Collaborative And Fast-paced Environment. You Will

  • Assist in the delivery of capital infrastructure and major plant replacement projects within scope, budget and program requirements.
  • Coordinate project activities including reporting, documentation, stakeholder engagement and project monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Liaise with clinical teams, contractors, consultants and operational stakeholders throughout planning and construction phases.
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor project progress and contribute to risk management, compliance and workplace safety outcomes across multiple sites.

About You

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable project professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering quality infrastructure outcomes. You have:

  • Experience in a project support or project coordination role, ideally within infrastructure, construction, engineering or healthcare environments.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks, solve problems proactively and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About The Assets And Infrastructure Division

The Assets and Infrastructure Business Unit (A&I) enables Metro South Health to continue to expand its scope and capacity of clinical services through the effective leadership of master-planned facility renewal and redevelopment. A&I undertake infrastructure planning through the development of business cases to deliver on the priorities identified within the Metro South Health Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP). We further deliver the identified Priority Capital Works and Capital Infrastructure projects within defined guidelines.
