Smart Juice LLC is a fast-growing producer of premium juices and juice beverages, delivering high-quality products to consumers nationwide. We partner with top-tier retailers and distributors to bring our brand to shelves across the country. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a highly driven and proactive sales professional to help us expand our footprint in mass, grocery/natural, food service, and club retail channels.
The Role
We need someone who loves being in the field, building relationships, and closing business. You'll be getting on the phone, walking store aisles, pitching buyers, and closing deals. If you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and have a track record of growing accounts in CPG or beverage, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
• Own and grow a portfolio of retail accounts across mass (like Walmart, Target), grocery/natural (like Whole Foods, Sprouts), food service (like Sysco), and club (like Costco, Sam's Club) channels in the field
• Prospect and open new accounts, building relationships from first call to shelf placement
• Conduct regular store visits, ensure proper placement, and support in-store execution
• Engaging in multiple category across grocery
• Work closely with buyers and category managers to secure shelf space, promotions, and reorders
• Track account performance and report on sales activity, pipeline, and opportunities
• Represent our organization at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
• Partner with internal teams on forecasting, trade spend, and promotional planning
What We're Looking For
• At least 5 years sales experience in CPG, food, or beverage — experience in retail
• Field-based, hands-on experience selling into mass retail, grocery/natural, food service, and/or club
• A proven track record of growing accounts winning business
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; you're confident with a client-facing approach
• Self-starter who can manage a territory independently with minimal supervision
• Proactive and highly motived in taking ownership of your sales
• Comfortable with frequent travel — this is a field role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus
Nice to Have
• Experience working with DSD and/or national distributors (UNFI, KeHE, etc.)
• Experience managing trade spend and promotional budgets
