We are seeking a results-oriented Accounting Lead to lead the general ledger and tax functions within our finance organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial results while maintaining compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company accounting policies. This role will be critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and strengthening the integrity of our accounting processes.

Main Responsibility

As an Accounting Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the management of general ledger processes to support the timely and accurate recording of financial results. Provides technical expertise and supports the team across accounting, tax, cost accounting, supply chain analysis, and inventory management. Responsible for managing team performance and ensuring accountability for the consistent application of appropriate accounting practices in day-to-day activities.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in general ledger management, strong technical knowledge of Accounting, Tax US regulations, Accounting Systems, Microsoft office suite, and excellent analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical accounting expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

• Leads the Inventory Accounting process for Finished Goods, along with the Supply Chain Finance Analyst
• Works in collaboration with Operations (OBU) to investigate inventory variances at owned and bailment warehouses, and presents adjustments for approval to management
• Works with Supply Chain Finance Analyst to budget and monitor logistics, handling and warehousing costs.
