Team Lead, Supply Chain

As a Team Lead, Procurement, you will manage a team of Associate and Intermediate-level supply chain professionals responsible for lifecycle procurement activities for systems, equipment, and materials. You’ll oversee packages of low to medium complexity and may personally lead high-impact, complex procurements requiring strategic oversight and cross-functional collaboration.
This role is pivotal in ensuring safety, schedule adherence, cost optimization, and maximizing Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) throughout the Design & Manufacturing (D&M) phase.
Responsibilities
- Procurement Execution: Ensure consistent, high-quality procurement practices across all lifecycle stages.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with program goals.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive performance and accountability.
- Team Leadership: Develop and lead a high-performing team through engagement, skill-building, and competency development.
- Reporting: Provide structured and ad hoc reporting to support organizational visibility and decision-making.
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of supply chain experience in industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving results.
- Strong background in:
- Excellent communication skills – clear, concise, and professional.
- Supplier performance management (safety, quality, delivery, cost)
- Contracting principles and competitive bidding law
- Project management, scheduling, and change management
- Stakeholder engagement and cross-functional communication
