Chief of Staff/Operations Chief to Dynamic CEO, Prestigious Global Event Organization, Miami, Florida
The CEO and Founder of a very prestigious global event planning organization that brings together prominent world leaders for a yearly summit is looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff/Operations Chief to drive strategic decisions and operational efficiencies. The company will be opening a new office in the Brickell area of Miami which you will help to set up.
This role is ideal for someone who can represent the CEO with high profile stakeholders and has exceptional project management skills and business acumen. You will be the operational backbone for the CEO, a Chief of Staff who acts as a true “right hand” partner that is strategic and can drive and execute projects. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a “nice have” but not required.
About The Job
- Serve as a gatekeeper and trusted liaison handling sensitive communications with discretion and professionalism understanding competing priorities; represent the CEO as a true “right hand” partner with the executive presence to hold your own in rooms with heads of state and C-Suite executives from around the globe
- Draft, edit and manage CEO’s correspondence, and reports
- Help execute strategy on the CEO’s behalf; act as the operational hub for the organization looking to maximize efficiencies using technology AI
- Coordinate domestic and international travel end-to-end itinerary management
- Attend meetings with prominent stakeholders; and handle action items
- Anticipate needs, solve problems before they escalate, and keep projects on track
- Help the CEO build the organization to scale, helping with HR initiatives and recruitment as the firm grows
- Have the business acumen to drive business strategy and execute plans on behalf of the CEO, a true force multiplier.
- Base Salary Plus Discretionary Bonus, 100% Health Care Covered by Employer
About You
- Approximately 8-15 years of experience as a Chief of Staff or Operations Manager, ideally from a growing tech firm in stealth mode, or a private equity or VC firm that you have helped to build, grow to scale.
- Bi-lingual English Spanish preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree, degree in Business Administration or an MBA highly desired
- Proven ability to move seamlessly between strategic work and hands-on tasks; someone who can sit at the table, understand the business, manage complex priorities and represent the CEO in high-level conversations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive presence and the ability to hold your own in rooms with prominent global figures
- Assertive, confident, and not afraid to speak up or push back when the situation calls for it
- A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude — you don’t watch from the sidelines; you get in and figure it out
- High energy and the ability to stay calm, focused, and effective when the pressure is on
- Advanced proficiency in Google Suite; strong project management skills, Asana, Slack and AI tools
