Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Preparing financial statements and reporting in line with GAAP and internal policies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all periods.
- Analyzing financial and operational performance to provide insights that help senior management optimize profitability and efficiency.
- Overseeing cost accounting for key airline operations, including fuel, crew, maintenance, leases, and ground services.
- Building detailed financial models to track fleet economics, route profitability, and cost allocation across aircraft and bases.
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes, including fleet-level planning and route-level forecasting.
- Supporting capital budgeting, lease vs. buy analyses, fleet acquisition decisions, and major investment reviews.
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in an aviation environment (airlines, charters, MROs, or fleet management).
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, cost accounting, and operational finance.
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- CPA or CMA certification, with an MBA preferred.
