As a global yet fast-evolving company, we are always looking to grow and evolve our talents. Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of C++ software based on the CATIA V5 CAA API
  • Design and realization of CAD features with complex geometric behavior
  • Development and optimization of mathematical algorithms for freeform surfaces
  • Maintenance and continuous evolution of a long-term-oriented software architecture for the development of optical components
  • Integration of modern methods, e.g. AI-assisted approaches, into development and analysis tools
  • Technical collaboration with universities and research institutions

Qualifications

  • Completed university degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in software development using C++
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5 CAA and the development of complex CAD features
  • Solid experience in the development of mathematical algorithms
  • Confident handling of surface and geometry models (e.g. NURBS, freeform surfaces)
  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
  • High interest in technically demanding challenges
  • Team-oriented mindset combined with the ability to work independently
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Very Good German skills, both written and spoken, preferred but not mandatory
